Can I Apply Schema to Existing Posts?
PostedMay 28, 2020

My existing site had product reviews written as posts. How do I apply the Acabado Schema settings to them?
We don’t currently have a way to migrate existing post content to the special schema type posts. For any posts that are ranking, I would probably just leave them alone. If you want to use schema on existing posts, the best option would be to re-create the product reviews using the special post type. Then create a permanent redirect from the old post to the new product review. Google will recognize what you did and you’ll most likely retain your ranking.
