Can I Change the Number of Articles on the Home Page?

Can I change the number of articles that appear on the home page under the Recent Posts section?

We don’t have a customizable option for that area of the home page right now.  It’s something we could consider adding, but more posts means longer load times so it’s a definite trade off. We chose to focus on recent content and optimal speed for the home page instead.
